Holiday Gift Guide: Support Small Business
Needless to say, small businesses have endured particularly hard times over the last two years. Running a small business is no tiny task, and our support means the world to the ones who run them! These are the people who work tirelessly, making our communities the unique places we enjoy and enriching our lives with their products and services. I've put together a short list of some of my favorite small businesses to shop for the holidays this year —
Yearly Co.
I wear my Yearly Co. jewelry from Ann every. single. day. They're the workhorse pieces I value most, and I love their zero-fuss mentality. I have a small personal collection I shared earlier in the year of Yearly Co. staples that seem to effortlessly polish off any outfit. What's more, I can sleep in them, workout in them and play endlessly with my daughter without a care. They're the true backbone of my wardrobe, the petite pieces that bring joy to my days, and the ones I can forever count on.
Currently in my daily rotation are her Classic Gold Hoops, Diamond Stud Earrings, Twist Bangle, and Baguette Diamond Huggies.
Vana Chupp Studio
*Today (11/14) is the last day to recieve custom orders before the holidays!
I’ve had a special friendship with Vana since Meriwether was a baby. I wrote a blog post earlier this week with tons of wonderful gift ideas from her storefront! I’ve loved sharing her business, Vana Chupp Studio (formerly Le Papier Studio) through the years as I’ve collected her unique, heirloom pieces. Her shop is truly something special. Vana’s storefront offers an array of options for everyone on your list ― even for the ones who truly have everything!
Memo Press
I met Alice earlier this year and it's been such a pleasure getting to know her! Her business, Memo Press is equally as delightful as she is. I first purchased her cards last Spring, when I needed some pretty stationery for both Easter and Meriwether's upcoming birthday. They're absolutely beautiful and come perfectly packaged. She recently launched the most darling Christmas Card Collection and I had to share them with you!
Honna London
When I found Honna, I immediately placed my first order! I've made another purchase since then and I wear them every week. I have the green stripe and pretty powder blue. The cotton is soft and airy, perfect for sound sleeping. They also recently launched nightdresses on their site― I have my eye on the classic white!
J. LOWERY Handbags
I got my first J. LOWERY handbag almost two years ago and I'm still as in love with it today as I was when I first opened the dust bag. The women who run this chic brand are fellow mothers, and we recently enjoyed lunch together when they were hosting a pop-up in Nashville! They launched their Fall/Winter Collection a few weeks ago and I had *heart eyes* big time, especially for the Cognac and Merlot. Their bags are absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Invest in one of their classic bags and you'll be forever in love (and in style)!
Coed Active
A brand I first shopped years ago, and immediately fell in love with their LA made pieces. Their Bonita Crop Top is by far the most comfortable workout top I've ever purchased. It dons a flattering silhouette with medium support and wide straps that gives you the perfect base layer for pilates, HIIT and everything in between! They recently sent me a set in their new cocoa colorway with the coordinating leggings and I *love* it. Just absolutely perfect for this season and beyond!
Tuesday Made
I frequent Sarah's store, Tuesday Made, and am never disappointed when my order arrives! She's curated so many beautiful holiday items, aside from her already perfect interior decor collections. I love the stylish pieces she offers for the approachable price point — not an easy task! I think one of her Boxwood Topiaries would make a wonderful hostess gift during the holiday season, just add a red ribbon. Also...her candles are to die for! The Grove candle is one of my all-time favorite scents and perfect for the festive months ahead. Fragrance notes: orange zest, bergamot, and cedarwood.
Panoplie
I recently discovered Panoplie thanks to my friend Karina! I browsed their collection and immediately purchased these ribbed water tumblers and candle holders. They have a unique collection of new and vintage home decor items at varying price points that are sure to please — I've already added another pair of the tumblers to my Christmas wishlist!
Milgrain Bracelet & Earrings
I've been wearing this Milgrain Bracelet for years — I wear it every single day! I first bought the bracelet along with matching earrings and I've been hooked since. The designer is based in Georgia and creates her pieces by hand. Now, I work with her to offer these pieces to friends and readers since it's always a top inquiry! They make perfect gifts for yourself or a loved one who enjoys classic, staple jewelry. I have them available for pre-order, so you'll recieve in plenty of time for the holidays!
