Easy Angel Ornament Craft
Meriwether and I made these adorable angel ornaments for family members on our Christmas list! She helped string on the beads and tie the twine. Afterwards, I found a petite strand of tinsel in my wrapping box. I cut it into inch long sections and used hot glue - it made the perfect halo!
I shared the tutorial I referenced and a video reel on Instagram to show our personal take on them! I got several questions about the specific materials we used, so I thought I'd share. All of these items can be quickly ordered, or found at your local craft store.
Cream Cardstock - This was surprisingly hard to find in-store. I finally came across *one* pack after searching three different locations! Ordering would've been much less time consuming, so I linked a 50pack for you.
Twine - easy and straight forward! You can also use leftover strands of ribbon you might have laying around.
Wooden Beads - I recommend getting beads in assorted sizes in case you want to make smaller and larger angels like we did! Meriwether said the small angel was her and the larger one was me haha The first two we made are hanging on our tree and she loves to look at them. *The ones I linked above are great deal considering I spent $5.99 on a pack of 6 beads at JoAnns.
Petite Tinsel - perfect for the halo! This tinsel garland is just the right size. Like I said, this was a last minute addition, but I think it totally makes them!
