New Year, New Neutrals

New Year, New Neutrals

With my growing bump, I've been consistently browsing some of my favorite shops (Everlane, Shopbop, J.Crew, etc.) for pieces that will take me into the New Year and beyond. I've stumbled across timeless black dresses that can be worn for countless occasions (hello, NYE!) and beautiful knits that'll keep things cozy until Spring. I've been particularly drawn to new accessories lately, because they easily add texture, fun and interest to everyday basics (which I'm currently living in while pregnant). I decided to stick with fresh neutrals for this edit ― enjoy!

Comfortable Things

During the holidays, all I want to do is snuggle up inside. But there will come a time in the next few weeks when I'll need to reemerge into society haha While browsing recently, I snagged this beautiful Ganni knit (here). I love that it's long so I can wear it now with my bump, but also post pregnancy. I love a longline silhouette and all the special details it has. I know I'll wear this investment piece for seasons to come.

Parties & Special Occasions

With New Year celebrations just around the corner, I almost always opt for a classic black dress or top with a new accessory. I love keeping things simple for nights out and have found it's best to invest in a simple, well-tailored piece you love and swap out statement accessories.

Accessories

Speaking of accessories, I've sourced a mix of cozy and sparkle here ― fitting for upcoming New Year celebrations and the cold season ahead. I've always loved how accessories can quickly change an outfit and infuse added texture and interest to my most basic pieces.

Maternity Finds...

On a personal note, I'm entering my third trimester after the holidays (!!) and I know there will be lots of time spent at home over the next several months. I was browsing the maternity collection via Shopbop today, and I was drawn to both Skin and Hatch for comfortable pieces heading into the final stretch and beyond. I specifically love this robe and button down caftan because they’re lightweight, comfortable and perfect for nursing once baby arrives. I also liked these leggings (and this cropped style) that will serve as staples throughout the next few months and postpartum. And lastly, this Pointelle nightgown and everyday nursing bra. All amazing basics I know I'll need!
