Our Entry Roses
Every time I share the front of our home, I get asked about our climbing roses. Carson gave me a tiny rose plant over five years ago as a gift ― I've been nurturing it ever since. Each spring unveils new growth and an abundance of soft, shell pink blooms. It adds such a charming element to our little home!

care instructions
Climbing roses need to be planted in a spot where they can have sun all day. Our roses get full morning sun, and then indirect sun for the remainder of the day. The area needs to be well drained, but the soil should remain consistently moist. This is important for blooming. To encourage your roses to bloom all season, deadhead or remove expired blooms as they fade. Cut back to the first leaf set.
Pruning is best done in the late winter while the rose is dormant. It's also easier to see the overall structure when the leaves are gone. Remove any dead, diseased or dying branches back to the main stem.
Caring for these roses through the years has proven to be straight forward and simple! If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out via email or on Instagram! I'm happy to help where I can.
