Easy Run Around Look ―
We've been filling the Autumn season with updates around our home! I find myself reaching for comfortable staples I can wear while working around the house ― then if we need to make a run to the hardware store, I can quickly throw on tennis shoes and a jacket or coat. Aside from this cream look, I recently bought this classic navy coat and pair it over this grey cashmere-cotton blend set (sweater and joggers). I finish it off with some cream tennis shoes and I'm out the door. I went true to size and I've included the pieces below if you're also in the market.
We're currently building out our walk-in attic space upstairs, which was underutilized and awkward before. I have a highlight on my Instagram profile titled "Attic Reno" where you can see progress updates!
Second project is getting Meriwether's big girl room finalized. Carson is building a closet that will serve her in the coming years as she grows. We're lucky to have such a handy papa around! We're also changing the carpet, doing some trim work, giving the walls a fresh coat of paint and of course adding new (and antique) furniture pieces. I've had the best time curating special things for her space. I can't wait to see it come together (!!)
All of these projects have kept us busy for the last few weeks. We're really pushing to have Meriwether in her new room by Thanksgiving (fingers crossed) and I'm feeling good about the progress made on the walk-in attic project. More updates to come soon!
