Holiday Gift Guide: My Wishlist

Holiday Gift Guide: My Wishlist

For many years, it was difficult for me to give gift ideas to loved ones around the holidays. Usually my mind is filled with so many other to-do's and thoughts around such a busy time, it was hard to land on the things I'd enjoy most.

So I created a running note on my phone! Throughout the year whenever I see something I really love, I add it (along with the product link). It's a great tool for other occasions that come throughout the year like birthdays and anniversaries!

Here's what you'll currently find on mine...

Running Wishlist

Hampstead Flatware - I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, but we're still using the mismatched collection of flatware from my days right out of college. It's time for an upgrade, so this set is at the top of my list! Plus, I can build my collection and serving pieces over the next few years.

Fresh Pajamas - I ask for pajamas every year and cycle out the ones that have been well-loved. I asked for these pants to pair with my nightshirts. I love the layered look, plus they're practical for wearing around the house and can be easily shed at nighttime ― (I'm a shirt and socks to bed type of girl)

Sleep Socks - I purchased these for myself a few months ago and immediately knew I needed another pair (or three). They have that perfect, hearty cotton feel. A special step up from my everyday cotton tube socks.

Silver Bell - A tradition Carson and I started years ago. We buy a silver bell with each Christmas, and one day we'll have a tree full of silver bells. A beautiful way to commemorate all our precious years together!

New Balance Tennis Shoes - I ordered these weeks ago, and they sadly got lost by the carrier. They've been consistently sold out until recently, so I asked Santa for them! He assured me they're on the way...

Sweatshirt Dress in Ecru - Can't you just see this with some sporty tennis shoes and a sweater draped over for errands? I can...and I want it!

Steele Rolling Laundry Bin - I've been needing a good laundry bin for ages. This is the one I have my eye on because I love that it easily rolls out of the way. If I had a larger laundry room, I'd go for this one. With the smaller ones, you can add another to separate darks from whites if you're into categorizing like me.

Perfect On-The-Go Cup - I feel like these have taken the internet by storm, for good reason. The handle, the straw, the clean design. The perfect way to stay hydrated throughout the day, which I tend to struggle with.

Short Uggs (also here & here) - Who doesn't love a fresh pair of Uggs? I've been wanting the shorter version since I first saw them. This year is the year! These pair easily with leggings and joggers, two things I've been wearing lots of lately. This year is the year!

Merit Brow Pomade - I purchased a few of Merit's products earlier this year and now I want to expand my arsenal (I have the Complexion Stick, Blending Brush and Tinted Lip Oil). I've heard wonderful things about their brow product...plus, they just came out with a pretty velvet holiday bag that comes with your purchase - a gift in itself (!!)

Augustinus Bader Face Cream - So many of my friends rave about this lightweight hydrating cream. It features groundbreaking stem-cell technology that triggers your existing stem cells to repair and renew your skin. So basically, it makes your skin look amazing. Sign me up!

Belted Wool Coat - An investment piece for the ages! I have an inexpensive coat that looks very similar to this and I'm able to style it so many different ways. I'd love to invest in a forever replacement. This one made the list because it pairs perfectly with casual denim or can be dressed up over a black slip dress. I also love it layered with a black and white stripe sweater for some classic interest!

Chic Diaper Bag/Backpack - I've been on the hunt for a quality bag I can use both as a diaper bag, but afterwards too. This one is the front runner! With Meriwether, I had a backpack and it was always the most convenient. I tried other styles of bags, but practically speaking, it's best to be hands free!

Alexandre de Paris Hair Clips - After transitioning to claw clips when I want to pull my hair back, I discovered this brand via Shopbop this year. I purchased two of their clips (here and here) and I'm officially hooked. Each one is handmade by a team of gifted French artisans and the level of hold and quality shines through. I know they're an investment, but I'm telling you...worth it. The next one I have my eye on is this perfect large clip in classic black!

Footed Soup Bowls (with lids here) - We love soup at our house, especially tomato soup. How special are these? And I love the height and interest they'd give to a table setting. I've been collecting this classic French porcelain and serveware for years. It's sturdy, practical and you can mix and match the silhouettes easily. This year, I have my eye on a set of these bowls. When I was in Paris last, I peeked under my plates at various restaurants and sure enough, they were Apilco. If they're good enough for Café de Flore, they're more than enough for me!

Rake Hair Comb (also the detangling comb) - I've been using a cheap little plastic comb more and more as of late, particularly on my wet hair right out of the shower. I love the hearty silhouette of this one. I have their hairbrush, and I really enjoy the luxurious quality. Would love to expand my collection here!

Pearl Drop Earrings - My friend Amanda has these gorgeous earrings and every time she posts them with a crisp white button down or dress, I swoon! An inexpensive, beautiful gift.

HATCH Belly Oil - This beauty find is for those of us who are expecting! A special self care moment your skin will crave as your baby grows. I saw this and thought it would make a great gift, so I just ordered and plan to gift it to myself haha

Square Toe Ballet Flats (budget-friendly option here) - Another investment piece, but in the footwear category. I purchased some inexpensive square toe flats earlier this year, and I've been wearing them every single week! I often purchase an inexpensive option of a particular style before investing, and this is a case where I know it would be a winner!

Monochromatic Large Canvas Tote - I feel like L.L. Bean read my mind with this one. After years of buying their totes, I always wanted one that was a simple neutral. I actually asked for the large/long style from my mom this year to serve as Meriwether's overnight bag. My friend Moriah brought hers on our boat trip this Fall and I knew it was a must!

Car Seat - This specific tan color we bought for Meriwether sells out often, and I really want to snag another one for our next child before its gone again. I noticed it was in stock the other day so it was immediately added!

Skirted Ottoman - I saw this ottoman and immediately knew I wanted it for our nursery! I know it may not be a typical holiday ask, but thought I'd include it since its currently on my list.
